For the love of the game

So I am pretty sure I stole this title from a movie. OK this post is all about Marshall's obsession with baseball. The week Derek had off we went with friends to watch an Angels/Mariners game. We didn't know how he would do and hoped to at least be able to stay a couple innings. We stayed almost 7! He LOVED it. He clapped and pointed and cheered! Fast forward a few days. We were in Carlsbad and had access to ESPN in our condo. It was always on (thus the reason we don't have cable here at home) and Marshall would point at the tv and clap and cheer at all the sports-especially baseball.
Now whenever he sees a tv or computer monitor he starts clapping and pointing. We ask him, "Do you want to watch baseball" answered by an enthusiastic, "Yeah!" Derek figured out that you can watch previous games on the computer via ESPN website so we watch games much to Marshall's delight. Don't be confused- he is still our busy-can't-sit-still fun-lovin boy but yes! He really does sit down long enough to clap, cheer, and yell at the screen! (Secretly I think he is copying his Dad having watched his excitement during Jazz games :))
