Last year we had a princess castle cake, this year, a pool cake. Why? Because Elise has a water FETISH! She loves to drink water, spill water, play with water, splash water, turn on water...and she loves to swim!
She enjoyed all the attention and seemed to really like her cake. Her brother might have been more enthusiastic though. :)
At the last minute we decided to invite friends to the party and happily three of our buddies were able to come short notice. The weisz, jones, and olsons. Hooray for friends and parties.
She was all smiles with her friends, some sugar, and the swing set (and of course a cup of water she spilled).
I had to put this picture in. The olson's little girl asked Marshall if he could do flips backwards on the rings. He told her no but then diligently worked on it. Only a few short minutes later he was flipping backwards and squealing with delight for everyone to watch him again. and again. and again. :)
We love you Lisey Lou! You light up our lives. We are so so so grateful to have YOU!!!!!!

I have been so bad at catching up on everybody's blogs. Decided I needed to see what you guys are up to. Congrats on a new baby coming soon! Your family is so cute, the kids are getting so big.
