Heidi's Wedding

We met Bryant in November at Thanksgiving and LOVED him.  We knew for sure in December that he was Heidi's one and only.  We welcomed him into the family in February!  They epitomize the saying, "When you know, you know!"  Her wedding was beautiful.  She was a gorgeous bride!  We took advantage of the surroundings (and matching outfits) and took a family picture:

It was a long day for the kids being shuffled to each event.  Elise took a nap in the van:

and Marshall had a blast with his first cousin once removed (is that right, Jamie?).  His name is Xander and he is a favorite in our house.

Elise hadn't quite woken up from her peaceful vehicle slumbering so Marshall played role of protective and loving big brother.  I love it when he "takes her under wing" and just dotes on her.  It is very sweet.  They snuggled like this for a few minutes.  In such moments one can honestly say that TIME STANDS STILL.

And finally the happy couple!  They are surrounded by almost all of their nieces and nephews on the Walton side.  Sandy had her newest edition, Henry, a week before and so their family understandably couldn't make it.  We missed them!

There was a librarian in the Riverton library that would say the same thing every time we came in, "Your Elise is a little Heidi!"  That librarian was also Heidi's 2nd (or 1st?) grade teacher.  Looking at pictures and even just putting them next to each other I would have to agree with her.  They do look a lot a like.  I know Elise would love to grow up to look like her Aunt Heidi!

Another awesome event happened while we were all gathered together. Holly and Jeremy blessed their baby, Maddison.  I am so glad that we got to be a part of that special blessing.  Joel and Maddison are only 11 days apart!  Holly and I seem to be on the same schedule!  Marshall and McKenzie are 2 months and 11ish days apart and Elise and Tyler are only 4 days apart!

Just last night Heidi and Bryant came up to visit us and the kiddos and they are doing so well!  We are happy for Heidi and Bryant!  Here's to a great eternity you two!
