After Christmas we took Joel on his very first trip. A trip to Utah to visit Great Grandmas and ALL of my immediate family (those pictures to come). Visiting with such awesome people really feeds the soul. We are blessed to have lots of those- people that is. :)
Great Grandmas Walton and Marshall had fun oooing and awwing over Joel but the older kiddos demanded most of the attention. I think we only broke one thing this trip. Sorry Grandma!
Aunt Karen also got to meet our new little buddy. She is all the kids "favorite Aunt Karen" as she is really good at spoiling them and making them feel special.
Its not often all my siblings get together as Lindsey and Brandon both live back east. We exchanged cousin gifts, played games, some of us watched football, and of course laughed. All fun. We also took family pictures. That wasn't fun. :)
I have so missed Lindsey. This is the longest I have gone without seeing her since she was in Egypt for 4 months and I was on my mission for a year and a half. Thank goodness for email, phones, and skype. Though, that is never enough to satisfy me or my kiddos- she is loved!
Elise always attaches herself to her cousins. She loves it. They love it. We are all happy.
Joel took it all in like a champ. He really is such a sweetheart- too bad that blasted colic has to get in the way of his otherwise happy and mellow days.
