"Buppa Ross!" comes to visit

I decided I really missed my parents so I called them up and "strongly encouraged" them to come visit. :) Mom was already coming in March and couldn't get more time off but my Dad was all for it. He told us to get some Jazz/Clippers tickets, and to plan on Disneyland. We LOVED having him here. Marshall especially has a sweet place in his heart for his Grandpa Ross or as he calls him, "Buppa" Ross.

The first night he was here he took us to the Jazz/Clippers game. Those crazy Jazz lost by 4 :(. Good game and good company though, minus the drunk guy sitting behind us. I didn't bring my camera which qualifies for another one of these symbols- :(.

While Dad was here he wanted to go visit his Great Grandma and Grandpa Marshall's graves. Marshall carries their name and so it was a very special visit. Marshall helped laid flowers down. The spirit is always so strong when one thinks of or does work for ancestors. We also went to my Great Grandpa Ross/Meredeth's grave which we were sure to put happy yellow flowers on. While here Dad asked Derek to look at his eyes. When Derek was done Marshall decided he wanted a turn too. Didn't quite sit as still as my Dad did..



Dad wasn't so sure about going to Disneyland without my Mom (she LOVES Disneyland) but he told me he couldn't resist wanting to see Marshall's excitement of "Dizzylnd." Marshall kept saying, "Buppa n' Marsh go Buzz ride" and "Buppa n' Marsh go boat ride" and so on. When he realized he hadn't gone on the car ride with Grandpa just as we were leaving he grew very anxious and upset insisting we go back and ride. We calmed him down by promising him that he could go with Aunt Lindsey in a few weeks. So for the next week and half he said, "Lee (Lindsey) n' Marsh go car ride!" Here we are with Grandpa in the Mickey Mouse home. Mickey Mouse is Marshall's new buddy.



My friend watched Marshall so my Dad and I could go to the temple. We were able to do some family history work and it is always such a good feeling. While Dad was here we also went for walks, played trains, watched Wiggles (sorry about that one Dad :)), and read lots of books-


We are so glad you came to visit Dad! You made a week full of studying for boards more than bearable! We love you and can't wait to see you again!
