Some of Marshall's favorite things...

Lindsey asked me to update my blog. I did. This is only one post of many- scroll down and enjoy all the cute pics of our favorite California babe!

Marshall has really been into this game that Linz gave us for Christmas called, 10 Days in the USA. We were playing it one Sunday during Marshall's nap. He woke up before we were done and now he plays with it on a daily basis. It has pictures of cars and airplanes which he LOVES! Often times when he wakes up he says, "Cars!" Meaning he wants to play with this game. Keeping track of the 60+ pieces is the trick.

He loves to go on walks. We mostly walk with friends but this was a special day it was the day that Derek finished the dreaded 12 STATIONS with flying colors! He passed and scored really well- thank you for all who sent happy thoughts and prayers our way! We celebrated with this walk and a picnic! It is such a relief to have that out of the way! Good Job honey- we love you!

He really likes getting his picture taken or a video taken of him and then view the product. We recently taught him to say Marshall, which he has enunciated quite well twice but the rest of the time he says, "Marsh!" It is so precious. He will see a picture of himself and exclaim, "Marsh!" and he often asks to see pictures of "Marsh!"

Marshall likes to give hugs and kisses. Here he is giving Jada a kiss. I will send you a copy Shunae!

And lastly, Marshall, likes being a 2 year old. What? He hasn't turned 2 yet? Could have fooled me!!! Honestly, he has been 2 since he was 10 months old. I had a friend with many boys tell me after watching him that her kids didn't even think of things that Marshall did til they were at least 2 or 3. His mind is active, calculating, and quick. Recently he has added ATTITUDE to the mix. I have been avidly researching and watching SUPER NANNY for ideas to combat the temper tantrums. Its hard work but I can honestly say that above all Marshall is still the sweetest little guy ever. See? This picture prooves it. :)

You're doing a wonderful job with Marshall! Call me bias, but I think "active" kids make smart and successful people. (:

If he started his terrible 2's early, maybe he'll finish them early and forget the attitude long before he's 3. :) He's a cutie!
