With 3 kids it really isn't hard to stay VERY busy. I started my Christmas projects very early! There really is never a dull moment. So lots happening...
My sister-in-law Holly had her baby right before Thanksgiving so right after the holiday my mother-in-law was off to Albuquerque to help. We REALLY missed her but got to spend a lot of time with Grandpa! He came over for dinner whenever he got a chance and the kids absolutely loved this quality time with him.
Joel got bigger...
We had a special visitor at our ward party- Elise was terrified of him, Joel could care less, and Marshall ...
....had a list of things to tell Santa that he would enjoy in his stocking.
Our three sweeties in their jammies-
Reading a book together-
Marshall really is so smart. He is excelling at school! He has memorized the 50 states in alphabetical order, is reading books, adding and subtracting, and loving learning! He got a ghost toy at school as a prize and decided to draw a picture of it. He named the ghost "Ghost Boo."
Since we would be having Christmas with the Walton side of the family we decided to go to Rawlins and visit Grandma and Grandpa Ross the weekend before Christmas. The kids loved being there. They got to open some presents early, watch Christmas movies on Grandmas kindle, chase the kitty, and read books with Grandpa. My highlight was sewing and shopping with my Mom.
Joel opening his very first Christmas present- it was a VERY soft blue blanket and cute moose outfit. :)
The kids just love their little brother. Elise likes to give him kisses. Every time he cries she says, "Uh-oh baby crying! I have to save him!" She then runs over and shoves a binkie in his face. Poor kid puts up with a lot but it does help that all the attention is out of love.
:)
